Advantages and disadvantages of apartments in new buildings

Because we realized that we would make an article too long exposing the advantages and disadvantages of the apartments in the new blocks vs. those in the old blocks, we decided to make a series of two articles, in which we would expose some of the pluses and minuses for each in part.

Although in the case of Akcent City we are talking about apartments in new buildings, every person who is interested in purchasing a home also asks himself this question: am I looking in an old building, in this case referring to the buildings built after the earthquake of 77, or do they lead to recently built blocks or even under construction? Of course, we don’t answer these questions for you, but we can suggest what to consider when making your decision.

Sometimes the price of a new apartment, depending on the area, can be higher than that of an apartment in an old building. Of course, this should not necessarily be seen as a disadvantage, if we were to calculate the advantages that a new and properly built building offers. To be able to evaluate this correctly, several things should be taken into account: the quality of the construction, the history of the developer and his seriousness in previous projects, what guarantees this by contract, etc.

Location

Many of the new blocks are built in areas further from the city center, sometimes even on the outskirts of the city. Which can also lead to reduced transport facilities in the absence of an own car and, implicitly, a high time spent from home to a certain point, be it the office, school or other points of interest in the city.

Facilities

There are a number of areas where real estate developments have flourished, but the area’s amenities are still not keeping up with the number of people, from public transportation to shops, schools, parks, hospitals and more.
